1. Purpose The Individual Membership Policy of Kenya In South Australia (KISA) outlines the terms and conditions governing participation as an Individual Member. KISA values the support and commitment of individual members who share our mission of community empowerment and positive change.
2. Eligibility To qualify for Membership, individuals must meet the following criteria: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a genuine interest in contributing to the mission and activities of KISA. Must agree to abide by KISA's Code of Conduct and ethical guidelines. Must complete the official KISA Membership Application Form.
3. Membership Tiers Individual Membership is offered at a single tier with no subcategories.
4. Benefits of Individual Membership Access to exclusive KISA events, workshops, and seminars. Opportunity to participate in KISA's volunteer and community engagement programs. Regular updates on KISA's projects, initiatives, and impact stories. Networking opportunities with fellow Individual Members, KISA board members, and community leaders. Voting rights at KISA's Annual General Meeting (AGM), allowing members to have a say in organizational decisions and leadership. Eligibility for special recognitions and awards for outstanding contributions to KISA's mission.
5. Membership Duration Memberships are valid for one year from the date of approval. Members may renew their membership annually by completing the renewal process.
6. Membership Fees Membership is offered as indicated. KISA aims to make participation accessible to all individuals who share our values and mission.
7. Code of Conduct Individual Members are expected to adhere to KISA's Code of Conduct at all times. This includes treating fellow members, staff, and community members with respect, integrity, and professionalism. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in the suspension or termination of membership, as determined by KISA's Board of Directors.
8. Termination of Membership KISA reserves the right to terminate an Individual Membership for any of the following reasons: Violation of KISA's Code of Conduct or ethical guidelines. Failure to renew the membership within the stipulated timeframe. Conduct detrimental to the reputation or mission of KISA. Members have the right to appeal a termination decision by submitting a formal appeal to KISA's Board of Directors.
9. Amendments to the Policy KISA may amend this policy as needed to ensure the organization's effective operation and alignment with its mission. Members will be notified of any policy changes in advance.
